Features

One ecosystem. Not eleven tabs.

Tasks, notes, journal, habits, check-ins, focus and an AI partner — in one app, on one home screen, under one calm surface. Minimalist but thorough. Deep but simple.

The design rule everything below obeys: simple surface, deep structure. The app opens with every section collapsed and one line from Sara at the top. You open what you need. It can grow forever underneath without the home screen ever getting louder.

Tasks & buckets

A task lives in exactly one bucket: Right Now, Today, Tomorrow, This Week, Next Week, Backlog, Someday or Projects. Not tagged into four views, not duplicated across lists — one job, one home. Drag it wherever it belongs.

Right Now is a single-task slot rather than a bucket: move something in and whatever was there steps back to Today, so there is never more than one thing in front of you.

A 🌶️ heat marker (0–3) flags how much a task will cost you — deliberately visual only. It never re-sorts your list behind your back. Order is manual and it stays yours. Due dates and labels exist and are optional; nothing turns red.

🧠

Brain Dump

Structure-free capture with autosave. No project, no tag, no due date, no decisions — just get the thought out before it evaporates. It’ll keep.

Later, turn entries into real tasks, splitting a wall of 2am text into separate jobs line by line. Archive rather than delete, because raw text is never thrown away without asking.

🌀

Focus flow · Right Now

The reverse pomodoro. Work as long as it flows; the longer you focus, the longer the break you earn — scaling up to a three-hour deep session before it wraps you up. A pomodoro interrupts flow on a schedule. This one rewards it.

Promote one task and the rest of the app collapses out of the way. Chimes, a 🌶️ heat-up flourish and desktop notifications mark each transition, so you can look away and trust it.

Focus stats accumulate quietly in the background — sessions, time in flow — so you can see the shape of your weeks without anyone giving you a score.

💬

Sara, your AI accountability partner

Accountability partner, hype-woman and gentle bully, wired directly into your system. She reads a live snapshot of your tasks, dumps, habits and check-ins, so you never explain yourself twice.

She can act: add, edit, move, complete and archive things — and only delete when you explicitly ask. Pick a task with her and she’ll promote it and start your timer herself.

She remembers you across sessions in a long-term memory she curates, and every action leaves a visible receipt (⚙) in the chat, so you can always check what she actually did rather than what she said she did.

Sara is Claude, from Anthropic, running in a locked-down serverless function — the API key never touches your browser, and your data never trains anyone’s model.

🔔

The Discord gateway

Sara reaches you where you already are, both ways. Proactive morning and evening nudges arrive on a schedule, so the check-in isn’t one more thing you have to remember to open.

And slash commands go the other way: /sara and /s to talk to her, /brief for the state of your day, /add to capture a task from your phone in three seconds. Focus-flow transitions ping their own channel.

🔁

Habits & routines

Daily checklists that reset overnight. Tick what you did; miss a day and absolutely nothing happens, because nothing was counting. There is no streak to protect and therefore no streak to lose.

📓

Journal, notes & check-ins

Named journals — three free, unlimited on a paid plan once pricing arrives (everything’s unlimited during beta) — each holding dated entries or evergreen pages, for the things that aren’t tasks. Pages inside every journal are never capped, free or paid. Private by default; Sara only reads the ones you hand her.

Plus a daily mood, energy and productivity check-in with 90-day trend sparklines. Data about you, for you — enough to notice a pattern (“I crater every second Thursday”), never enough to be graded on.

Wisdom & mantras

The things you keep having to re-learn, kept somewhere you’ll actually re-read them. Every neurodivergent person has a handful of sentences that work; they’re useless in a notebook you never open.

📁

Projects

For the things that are bigger than a task. Group work under a project and keep it out of Today until it’s genuinely today’s problem.

🧹

Clean Slate

The shame-free reset. Sweep everything in one move — it isn’t deleted, it’s parked in a holding pen, and restoring lets you give each thing a new home with fresh eyes.

A normal archive puts things back where they came from. A sweep assumes you’ve changed, which after a bad fortnight you have.

🌗

Light, dark & your phone

A proper light theme and a proper dark one, remembered across the site and the app. It runs in any browser and works on a phone — add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app. See Download for where native apps are up to.

The receipts

An AI that has to show its working.

The failure mode of every AI assistant is the confident lie — “Done! I’ve moved that for you” when it moved nothing. So Sara can’t just claim things.

Every tool she runs leaves a receipt chip in the chat, and if she claims an action without running one, the app says so out loud. You never have to take her word for it, which is the only way an external brain is worth trusting.

Honest about the edges

What it isn’t.

A features page that only lists wins is a sales pitch. Here’s where Sarabellum genuinely won’t serve you today.

It isn’t a team tool

You can share a project with a few people by invite code — a partner, a body-double crew, a small household — and joining is always free. But there’s no assigning, no comments, no admin console, and only the project owner can move a task out of it. If you need real team workflow, look elsewhere.

There’s no native app yet

Web and mobile web only. An iOS release is on the roadmap; Android isn’t and won’t be. See Download.

It doesn’t sync your calendar

There’s a button through to Google Calendar, but Sarabellum doesn’t read or write it. Your day here is a shortlist, not a schedule.

All of it. Free, while it’s in beta.

Free while it’s in beta. No card, no trial countdown, no catch.
