Just want the app, no AI subscription? Core — $6/mo or $99 once, whenever pricing arrives. The full app, no Sara subscription, bring your own Anthropic key if you’d rather run her on your own account. Free’s Sara taste carries over — paying never buys you less of her than free gets.
To be completely unambiguous: the three dimmed plans above, and the Core line under them, don’t exist. There’s no billing, no Stripe, no card form and no paywall anywhere in Sarabellum today — there is exactly one plan and it costs nothing. These numbers are the ones we’ve actually decided on internally, not placeholders — but they’re sketched here because you deserve to see where this is heading before you invest your system in it, not because they’re for sale.
The uncomfortable bit
Why it’s free, and why that can’t last forever.
Most “free beta” pages don’t explain themselves. Here’s the actual arithmetic, because you’re about to trust this thing with your entire life admin and you should know what keeps it alive.
The app costs nothing to run
Hosting and the database sit comfortably in free tiers. If Sarabellum were only tasks and a timer, free forever would be trivially easy and we’d just say so.
Sara costs real money
Every time she thinks, that’s a paid API call to Anthropic, and it scales with people rather than sitting flat. Right now those calls come out of one person’s pocket. That’s fine at this size and obviously isn’t fine at ten thousand.
So we measure it
Every AI call is metered — tokens, model and cost, per call. Early numbers put a heavy user in the low single digits of dollars a month, but the sample is far too small to bank on. Paid plans arrive when the data says they must, not before.
The promise, such as it is: we won’t spring a paywall on you. When pricing arrives you’ll get plenty of warning, the free tier will still be a real tier rather than a demo, and the reasoning will be published the same way this paragraph is. Your data will always be yours to take with you.

What’s the catch?
There isn’t one, and there isn’t a clever one either. We’re not selling your data (see Privacy), there are no ads, no affiliate links and no tracking pixels. It’s free because it’s early and small, and because the person paying the bills would rather have honest users than early revenue.
Do I need a credit card?
No. There is no card form anywhere in the product. Sign in with Google and you’re in.
What happens to my stuff when pricing arrives?
It stays yours. There will be a free tier that’s genuinely usable rather than a hostage situation, and you’ll be told well before anything changes. If you ever want out, your data is exportable and deletable on request — just ask.
Is this a startup? Are you going to get acquired and ruin it?
It’s one person and an AI, building the tool they needed, with no investors and therefore nobody to please but the people using it. That’s a genuine structural advantage today and an honest limitation too — read About for the whole picture, including the parts that aren’t flattering.
Can I pay you now anyway?
That’s a lovely instinct and no — there’s nothing to pay with. If you want to help, use it and tell us what’s broken. Honest feedback from a real neurodivergent brain is worth considerably more than a subscription check right now.
Is there a student or low-income plan?
There will be. The whole point of this app is to reach people who are struggling, and pricing it out of their reach would be a spectacular own goal. When paid plans exist, so will a way through for people who need it.
What if I love it and genuinely can’t afford it?
Write to us. When paid plans and usage caps exist, this stays true: if Sarabellum is working for your brain and money is the only thing in the way, send a short message and we’ll sort something out. Executive function support shouldn’t hinge on a good month. And if you can pay, thank you — you’re quietly covering someone who can’t. That’s how we’d like this to work.
