Privacy Policy

Sarabellum is a personal daily-organisation tool, run by Sarabellum Designs. This page explains what information Sarabellum collects and how it’s handled. It’s written to be read, not to be survived.

What gets collected

• Your name, email address, and profile picture, from signing in with Google.
• Whatever you type into the app yourself — tasks, journal entries, brain dump notes, check-ins, habit checklists, and anything else you write.
• If you use the contact form or the newsletter signup on this website: the email address you give and the message you send. Nothing else, and no account needed.

Sarabellum uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It’s cookieless — no cookies, no persistent identifiers, nothing that tracks you individually across visits, just anonymous aggregate counts. Sarabellum doesn’t use tracking pixels or advertising of any kind.

This website loads no third-party resources at all. The fonts are served from Sarabellum’s own domain rather than from Google Fonts, precisely so that reading this page doesn’t quietly hand your IP address to anyone else.

Where it’s stored

Everything lives in a Supabase (Postgres) database. Every table enforces row-level security, meaning the database itself only ever returns your own data to your own signed-in account — no other account can read your information.

Who can see it

Other users can’t. Row-level security means no other signed-in account can ever read your data — every account is sealed off from every other one.

The one exception is the person who runs Sarabellum (its developer/operator), who has technical access to the underlying database — the same as the operator of any hosted app. That access exists only to run, maintain, and support the service. Your data is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for anything beyond operating the app for you. If you’d like it deleted, just use the form below.

Sara and your data

Sara, the in-app AI partner, works by sending a snapshot of your system — your tasks, notes, habits and check-ins — to Anthropic’s Claude API, which generates her reply. That’s the only way she can be useful; an assistant that can’t read your system can’t help you run it.

Your data is not used to train any AI model. The API key lives on the server and never touches your browser. If you’d rather Sara didn’t see your system at all, don’t use her — the rest of the app works without her.

Third-party services

• Google — used only to sign you in (OAuth). Sarabellum never sees your Google password.
• Supabase — hosts the database described above.
• Vercel — hosts the app itself, and its cookieless Web Analytics counts visits and page views.
• Anthropic — provides the Claude model behind Sara, as described above.
• Discord — only if you use the Discord gateway, in which case messages Sara sends you go there.

Cookies

Sarabellum sets one kind of cookie: the one that keeps you signed in. It’s strictly necessary — without it you’d be logged out on every page load — and it isn’t used to track you. The analytics are cookieless. There’s no advertising, so there are no advertising cookies. See Cookie settings for the whole (short) story.

Your rights over your data

It’s yours, and you don’t have to ask. Inside the app, Account menu → Print / export → Download all my data hands you a single JSON file with everything — tasks, journal, notes, brain dumps, wisdom, check-ins, focus history, and Sara’s chat and memory. No request, no wait, no siloing. To have all of it deleted, use the form below or email aolsendev@gmail.com — there’s no retention trick, no 30-day cooling-off period designed to make you change your mind, and no “are you sure?” carousel.
